
In April 2017, 25,000 participants from more than 100 countries will touch down in Auckland for 10 days of sporting challenge and excitement.
It will be the largest event staged in New Zealand across a decade, featuring 28 sports played across 48 competition venues, from stadiums and arenas to beaches and forests. For many, it represents the chance of a lifetime to compete on a world stage against sports peers.
The Touch competition at the World Masters Games 2017, offers events for men’s, women’s and mixed teams across open and social grades in the age categories identified in the Sports Information Guide. The minimum age to participate in Touch is 27 for women and 30 for men.
The WMG2017 Touch competition will take place at Bruce Pulman Park, and is provisionally scheduled to take place from 22 April to 25 April 2017.
Please note, the cutoff date for new teams (subject to available competition capacity) is 3 March 2017. New athletes joining existing teams is available up to and including 31 March 2017, however a late fee may apply.
