TEAM GEAR
• Mon/Tue teams have been given, and Thu teams will be given their Local Touch gear tomorrow, which consists of: 6 x cones, 1 x ball, 1 x whistle, 1 x rule book, 3 lots of certificates. We are still awaiting drink bottle delivery. These will be distributed as soon as they arrive.
• Re certificates: please could you let your Coaches/Managers know, that the Player of the Day and Great Effort certificates are to be awarded weekly. However, the Achievement Certificates are to be awarded at the end of the season (replaces the Participation Certificates from previous seasons).
COACHING
• We noticed last night at our Tuesday competition, a number of teams and coaches – obviously very new to the Sport of Touch - who weren’t aware of many of the rules.
• Please could you let all your coaches know that there are resources and information on our website for them to use. Click here to go to the Coaching Page. This includes ‘Simplified Rules & Terminology of Touch’, ‘Local Touch Junior Rules & Regulations’, and ‘Local Touch Practical Guide for Coaches’ (which includes drills and skills).
